The Moorings 5000 fully deserves its honorary title of Charter Boat of the Year. Once again, the responsibility for designing this boat was handed to Alex Simonis. And, as is his custom, he opted to go for the now tried and tested stepped hull design, which makes it possible to both wide enough to increase the living space above the water line and yet sufficiently well-profiled to ensure good sailing performance. The outcome of this very canny design is a catamaran which will fulfill any owner’s dream, as it is not only roomy, but also fast and powerful.
The Moorings 5000 features 4 double cabins with ensuite bathrooms, and can comfortably host a crew of eight. Notwithstanding, if required, a convertible dining table can be used in order to take on board last-minute additional crew members.

This exciting yacht is the ideal layout for anyone looking for more outdoor living space. The flybridge includes a lounge area, table, shade, awning, exterior speakers, and a sunbed. Access to the flybridge is provided by floating stairs leading up from the aft cockpit.
