Dufour Yachts has become the exclusive supplier of monohull sailing yachts for The Moorings. This new partnership solidifies a longstanding collaboration, making Dufour Yachts the sole provider of monohull sailing yachts for The Moorings.
The technical teams of both Sunsail and The Moorings have collaborated closely with Dufour Yachts to ensure that the new Dufour products are optimally positioned to meet the requirements of their customer base.
The new Moorings 41.3’s unique 3-cabin, 3-head layout, exclusive to The Moorings, sets a new standard. Developed in collaboration with The Moorings’ team, this model represents the pinnacle of 41-foot monohulls available on the market today.
The transom is particularly notable for its fully-equipped outdoor galley, complete with a sink and BBQ grill, swim platform, and much more. The cockpit layout is ergonomically designed and rivals that of a 44-foot yacht. Below deck, Dufour has optimized the available space to create a sense of spaciousness and bathe the interior in ample natural light.

The boat gets to a certain angle of heel—18 degrees per Felci Yachts Design parameters—and wants to stay there for best speed; in one gust, we depower the main a bit and the boat accelerates as she comes up slightly to that sweet spot.
The designer’s choice to carry the beam forward opens the interior such that this 41-footer feels more spacious than other boats of the same length. Longitudinal windows in both the hull and the cabin house, plus ample hatches in the coachroof, flood the interior with daylight.
In terms of sailing, she has a deep, balance single spade rudder pushed forward to keep it submerged and twin wheels, to minimise drag and maximise feel on the helm.
